POWER, Is This What You Want?
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009Hi, it’s me again. It’s been a little long since i updated my blog. Busy nowadays.
What is future? What does future consist of? Is it important?
Future is something yet to happen, will or will not happen. Future is filled with uncertainties.
However, if we were to try to control the future, we need to start doing things from the present.
Children, teenagers and undergraduates are the future controller in a country. When they excel in UPSR, PMR, SPM and STPM or even getting first class honors … Do all that means they are ready to become the next generations’ leaders? Can excellence prevail morality? There are many scholars been sent to foreign countries after they have got the JPA scholarship from the government. After years of pursuing studies in foreign countries, how many of them ever come back willingly to serve the country? PTPTN loan by the bank, students borrowed the money to further their higher education, but in the end, how many percent ever given back?
Those basic moral values were totally forgotten after these students, the future leaders, got over their studies. Is this the type of students or leaders Malaysian government wanted to produce? The adolescents are following the track/path passed by our present leaders. If they themselves don’t show good and appropriate example, in what sense do they ever hope to produce higher quality’s leaders?
Everything we do, we have to follow the law, either written or “non-written”, if you get what I mean.
Is this the life we want? Is this the knowledge we want to learn, if it is not appropriate? Is this the way we want to carry ourselves in carrying our duties? Why must we follow their unjust rules? Why must we see the judiciary being violated for an “unknown” reason?
Why must we see our democracy dies in front of us, while we can do nothing to save it? Because of one word– POWER. Power can make you lose your mind. Absolute power can absolutely make you lose your mind. In Malaysia, with the hold of “absolute” power, all we can do is to see the dying show of democracy. Violation of power is nothing more than common in this country. People with the good political and administration results will be checked on. People with nothing useful but seriously corrupted, will only be “advised” to stop doing it. Everything that is known to be independent from the power will be controlled by the power to get rid of the good or opposing ones.
What the heck is happening? I don’t wish Malaysia to become another Thailand! Is that what you want, power?
Every day we look at the news, there will be all altered news. So those to please the power, or not to make the power angry, or else, beware of your license. Every bull shit will be said, and will be done by the power.
Oh, Dear POWER, can you imagine there are many things to do now in spite of trying to get rid of your enemy? Your enemy is not the one you aim, it’s the problems faced by the world. Never ever think about:”If the economy really collapsed, is there anything left?”
52 years, it’s time to wake up…
To the future leaders of Malaysia, if there is still something left for you, please keep in mind that, be good yourself, be good in your family, be good to your people, and be good to your lovely country.
There is no other countryas lovable as Malaysia. We have different races, yet, we are OK with each other, if there is no idiot to raise certain sensitive issue among us just to be a one day hero.
Remember, the greater the power you have, the greater is your responsibility. We hope for the best, we strive for the best!
I love you, Malaysia.
Prove to the world:”Malaysia Boleh!”
